About Robert Vaughan
Robert Vaughan sold his first novel when he was 19 years old. Since that time he has sold nearly 300 novels, making him one of America's most prolific authors. He has published in every genre except science fiction, fantasy, and horror. He won the Porgie Award in 1976,for Best Paperback Original Novel, theSpur Award in 1994, for Best Western Novel, and was inducted into the Writers Hall of Fame in America in 1996. Writing under his own name, and 42 pseudonyms, Robert has hit the Best Seller Lists of the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and USA Today. His book Andersonville was a mini-series on TNT Television and his documentary, Vietnam Homecoming. which aired in December 2006 has been nominated for 6 Emmys and a Peabody.
Robert has a long and successful history of working with pre-published writers. He has conducted seminars at such places as: Missouri University, University of Georgia, College of William and Mary, Arizona State University, Arkansas State University, Millsaps College, University of Illinois, Southeast Missouri State University, Texas Tech University, University of Alabama - Birmingham, Pikes Peak Writers' Conference, Golden Triangle Writers' Conference, and Heartland Writers' Conference.
